Mucuna pruriens is a tropical legume native to parts of Africa, India, and Southern China renowned for its ability to boost dopamine levels in humans. Mucuna pruriens contains the amino acid levodopa which is needed for your brain to produce dopamine. Ancient medical systems often used it to treat male infertility, nervous disorders, and low sex drive.
