Vitamin B5 (AKA pantothenic acid) is part of the B family of vitamins. Vitamin B5 is one of the most important vitamins in the human body. It is a key component of Coenzyme A, a molecule which is essential to your body’s ability to create energy from fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. B5 supplements are commonly used to combat hormonal acne, cystic acne, and oily skin.
